Agents from the General Investigations Station (DIG) of Itapetininga served, this Sunday morning (16), arrest and search and seizure warrants against the driver identified as Adriano Domingues da Costa who, last Friday (14), shot against a vehicle occupied by two people on Rodovia Castello Branco, in Boituva, in the interior of São Paulo.
Adriano was temporarily detained by the courts and is wanted for attempted murder against the couple who were traveling on the highway. On that occasion, Adriano, after a traffic dispute, got out of his car and shot three times at the victims’ vehicle. The couple recorded the incident and the video went viral on social media.
According to the Itapetininga Sectional Police Station, the suspect remains at large. Police officers from the unit went to the man’s house, located in Mairiporã, but he was not found. At the scene, a safe, a tonfa, a type of bladed weapon used to practice martial arts, and the suspect’s passport were seized.
Last Saturday (15), Adriano’s vehicle had already been seized at a hotel where he was staying in Piraju.
In a statement, the São Paulo Public Security Secretariat said any information about the fugitive’s whereabouts can be communicated by calling 181. Authorities are continuing with investigations to locate him.
A CNN contacted the owner of the vehicle shown in the images and is awaiting a response.

In the images it is possible to identify a driver dressed in red leaving armed, with his wife, from a white Hilux truck. The man goes towards the car in front, swearing and asking if the victim “was happy”. See the video:
In a second video, with the truck in front, the man appears next to the passenger seat, while the woman speaks to the Military Police on the phone, and asks to lower the vehicle’s window.
