Oil wells in the semi -autonomous area of Iraqi Kurdistan today were attacked for a third day in the week, resulting in production of two oil wells managed by the Norwegian company DNO. DNO oil and natural gas company, which manages the Pescabir and Toky Oil wells in the Zako area bordering Turkey, has announced that it has temporarily suspended the production of oil wells following explosions that did not cause injuries. The oil wells were attacked by three unmanned aircraft (drones) that carried bombs, but without causing injuries except material damage, as Kurdistan’s anti -terrorist service wrote on Facebook. “Damage assessment is ongoing and the company expects to start production again when the process is completed,” DNO said.
