Last Monday (10), the Military Police of Minas Gerais arrested a drug dealer suspected of having participated in the murder of a lawyer in Contagem, metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte. The crime occurred in April.
The man, who was on the run, was arrested in a joint operation between the PM and the Intelligence Directorate and the Specialized Coverage Group.
At the time of arrest, the suspect, who was in a high-end restaurant, in the Pampulha region, in Belo Horizonte, presented a false document to try to escape the police.
According to the police, the criminal is considered the number 1 drug trafficker in the Frigo Diniz cluster, in Contagem, and has a criminal history of extreme violence.
In addition to suspected involvement in the homicide, the man had an open arrest warrant for conviction for drug trafficking, with a stipulated sentence of 16 years in the closed regime.
