The Civil Police of Espírito Santo arrested Rhuan Cannygia Chenneman Batista, 27 years old, known in the world of crime as “Peida Leite”, on Wednesday night (16), in Vila Velha, in Greater Vitória.
He was detained with a pistol and ammunition. Since 2019, “Peida Leite” was on the run . Investigations revealed that Rhuan is a member of the high hierarchy of the First Command of Vitória (PCV) operating mainly in the Bonfim neighborhood.
At around 7pm, an operation was carried out in a location identified as Rhuan’s possible hiding place, resulting in his arrest.
He was responsible for trafficking in the São Geraldo neighborhood, in Cariacica, and in points in the Aribiri neighborhood, in Vila Velha, according to the coordinator of the Center for Intelligence and Telematic Analysis (Ciat), Alan Moreno de Andrade.
At the time of arrest, Rhuan did not resist the police approach and collaborated with the agents, indicating the location of a firearm.
Investigations indicate that Rhuan’s presence in trafficking gave “legitimacy” to the orders that were passed on by senior members and members of other prisons.
