Two men were arrested on suspicion of using a warehouse to store drugs in the Mooca region, east of São Paulo, last Tuesday (27).
According to the São Paulo Public Security Department, the discovery of the illicit material was made with the help of a sniffer dog. One of the prisoners was a fugitive from justice.
During the action, the Civil Police carried out search and seizure warrants and had assistance from the Fire Department to enter the space.
The suspects used the warehouse, known as the “drug store”, to store more than 3,000 portions of drugs, including more than 700 of marijuana, 500 of cocaine and almost 2,000 pieces of crack.
According to the department, part of the drugs were inside a ventilation duct, identified by the sniffer dog.
In addition to the drugs, a fanny pack, a bag used to store the narcotics, precision scales and around R$2,000 in cash were seized.
The case was registered as a wanted man being captured and drug trafficking at the 8th DP (Brás).
