DSK’s new business in Morocco

After having withdrawn from political life by force of circumstances – and the Sofitel scandal which everyone still remembers today – Dominique Strauss-Kahn has radically changed his life, and even his country. The ex-leftist politician, who was said to be on the right track to become the next President of the Republic, is installed in Morocco with his new wife Myriam L’Aouffir. With her, he co-pilots the NGO MekkiL, which helps destitute mothers and children in Morocco.

With MekkiL, DSK has also just launched in Marrakech an operation called Never Without My Alarm, in collaboration with the NGO Al Karam, to fight against violence against children, reports the site Atlasinfo.

“I who have always thought that all actions should come from the top down, I realize that in reality the action of associations and NGOs of all kinds on the ground is absolutely essential,” said the former -director of the International Monetary Fund.

A biopic on the life of DSK in preparation

DSK news does not stop at its humanitarian actions. The ex-politician is at the head of Parnasse International, a consulting company that allowed him to raise no less than 21 million euros between 2013 and 2018, revealed L’Obs in February 2020. DSK works mainly with African politicians, such as Denis Sassou-Nguesso, President of Congo for more than twenty-three years. His advice is in high demand by African leaders.

But the highlight of his year 2021 will undoubtedly be the documentary he is preparing on his life, which should be released in the fall. In this biopic, which he himself announced last December, Dominique Strauss-Kahn intends in particular to give his “version of the facts which marked (his) withdrawal from political life”, because, until then, “of others took care of it in (his) place. “Now is the time to speak up. “
