Dubai Police Will Tell Investors How To Avoid Cryptocurrency Fraud

Dubai Police have announced a partnership with local cryptocurrency firm BitOasis. During the training, investors will be explained how to identify fraudulent schemes in cryptocurrency trading.

As noted by the CEO of BitOasis Ola Doudin (Ola Doudin), there is a significant number of fraudulent projects in the cryptocurrency industry. The firm hopes that a partnership with the Dubai police can help investors avoid them.

The police are also continuing to train their employees in cryptocurrencies and blockchain to better understand the new technology of the digital economy. The police hopes to “develop effective investigative techniques to deal with the risks of cryptocurrency trading.”

“We are working with the country’s leading regulators to ensure the safety of investing in cryptocurrencies,” Dudin said.

Tarek Mohammed, head of the Virtual Asset Crimes Unit at the Dubai Police, stressed that the UAE is constantly adopting new practices to ensure the financial security of the country and investors.

At the end of August, the CEO of Bittrex Global cryptocurrency exchange Stephen Stonberg announced that the UAE and Dubai have become favorable jurisdictions for the cryptocurrency business. Local regulators are loyal to the cryptocurrency market and are developing blockchain-related technologies.
