For several years, KAMAZ sent its personnel on corporate leave twice a year: in the winter immediately after the New Year holidays and in the summer. Now, due to the heavy workload of production and the limited labor market, KAMAZ has canceled the planned corporate vacation for 2022 and does not plan corporate vacations for the next 5 years.
As a representative of the company told the Interfax agency, in the first ten days of May, the KAMAZ conveyor will operate from May 4 to 6, and the days from May 7 to 10 will be non-working.

According to the results of the first quarter of 2022, KAMAZ produced 11,398 trucks, which is 16% more than a year earlier. Due to the halt in the supply of imported components under the conditions of external sanctions, the bulk of KAMAZ’s production is currently made up of K3 generation trucks of the Euro-5 class. The production of cars of the K4 and K5 generations also continues, but production is limited by the stock of components.
Today, the company’s efforts are aimed at localizing imported components and working with alternative Russian suppliers. The company plans to start assembling K5 vehicles from January 2023 without the participation of foreign partners.
The company is also trying to organize the supply of components for the K4 line so that the assembly of these cars in demand on the market on the KAMAZ conveyor continues at least until the end of this year.
