A man identified as Wilson Brasilino de Oliveira, aged 47, and a woman, Valquíria da Silva Oliveira, aged 54, were shot in the community of Quitungo, in Brás de Pina, North Zone of Rio de Janeiro, this Monday (3 ).
According to the Military Police of the State of Rio de Janeiro (PMERJ), the 16th BPM (Olaria) corporation was called in the morning for an incident of bodily harm at the location. When they arrived, they found Wilson and Valkyrie with gunshots.
A CNN PMERJ reported in a note that “preliminary information indicates that the injured person was an app driver.”
The examination was carried out on site, and the case investigation was forwarded to the 38th DP (Brás de Pina). Agents from the Civil Police of the State of Rio de Janeiro (PCERJ) “analyze camera images and carry out other measures to identify crime suspects.”
Regarding the victims, they were taken to the Getúlio Vargas State Hospital, located in the Penha neighborhood, and their health condition is stable, according to the State Secretary of Health.
