The Federal District and Territory Court (TJDFT) accepted the prosecution’s complaint against Two men accused of killing and quartering a resident Street in Riacho Fundo, administrative region about 20 kilometers from Brasilia.
Gerson Sousa Basilio, 52, and Augusto César Nunes Romano, 23, have been arrested since the beginning of the month for the crime murder of Sidnei Martins de Oliveira, 56. The complaint was accepted on April 24.
The duo has become a defendant and will be liable for qualified homicide, concealment and vilipe. The perpetrators of the crime were charged with willful murder. Gerson, also known as Paraíba, had police tickets, including murder and Maria da Penha. Already Augusto had no criminal record.
Remember the crime
According to the Civil Police, Augusto and Gerson confessed to killing Sidnei. The victim, as the investigation indicated, was homeless and the two suspects met on the day of the crime and consumed alcohol together. The crime occurred after a disagreement between Sidnei and Augusto. In addition, Gerson’s former partner stated in testimony that Paraíba was jealous of her with the victim, although he scored that there was never involvement between the two.
Security cameras of the building where Augusto lived captured the arrival of the three men near the container where the victim would be found, around 3:40 am, and then entering an apartment. At 9:33 am, Augusto and Gerson are caught leaving the place while the caretaker cleared the hall.
At 12:40, Augusto, who was responsible for cleaning and discarding the body parts, is seen leaving the apartment, alone and with another clothes. He goes out carrying a plastic box and shows some difficulty loading it. And then it is seen leaving the building.
