Duque de Caxias has “red alert” because of the rains and floods

The city of Duke of Caxias Alerted by the rains on Friday (4). The city published a “red alert” and recommended that residents avoid circulating around the city. Some points of the municipality recorded flooding.

According to the Rio de Janeiro State Military Fire Department (CBMERJ), there is “very high” hydrological risk in the city.

In addition, there is a risk of high sliding in Angra dos Reis, Silva Jardim, Macaé and Angra dos Reis.

RJ Firefighters are on alert, mobilized to meet possible emergencies.

Since Thursday (3), the corporation has been triggered for 6 rain-related occurrences, most involving traffic accidents, with victims with minor injuries.
