The decline in the US and journalists’ stay in the US has been proposed today by the Donald Trump government, as the Republican president seeks to enhance the restrictions on legal immigration. According to this proposal, foreign student visa owners will not be able to stay in American soil for more than four years. Foreign journalists, for their part, will be able to stay in the US for a maximum of 240 days, but will be able to renew their visa for a similar period. The exception is Chinese journalists who will not be able to stay on American soil for more than 90 days. So far, the US has issued entry visas for students who covered the whole period of studies.
