DYPA: From Monday the applications for the last 600 positions for the employment of unemployed people aged 30 and over

From Monday the applications for the last 600 positions of the job program for unemployed people aged 30 and over in the Regions of Anat. of Macedonia and Thrace, Western Greece, Epirus, Thessaly and Central Macedonia

On Monday 18-7-2022 at 13:00, the applications for the last 600 positions (D cycle) of the program to create 7,000 new jobs for unemployed people aged 30 and over in the Less Developed Regions of the country (Upper Macedonia and Thrace, Western Greece, Epirus, Thessaly and Central Macedonia), with an emphasis on the long-term unemployed and the unemployed aged 50 and over. The deadline for submitting applications ends on Monday 29-8-2022 at 3:00 p.m. or until the seats are exhausted.

The program is aimed at private companies, the duration of the subsidy is 12 months and the monthly subsidy for hiring unemployed people into new full-time positions is as follows:

€473 monthly (€5,676 annually) for the unemployed up to 49 years of age
€568 monthly (€6,816 annually) for the unemployed aged 50 and over
€615 monthly (€7,380 annually) for the long-term unemployed
€710 monthly (€8,520 annually) for the long-term unemployed aged 50 and over

The purpose of the action is to promote employment, especially for the long-term unemployed and the unemployed of older ages whose long-term unemployment makes it difficult for them to reintegrate into the labor market. The total budget amounts to €44,000,000 and is co-financed by the European Social Fund, through the EP. “Human Resource Development, Education and Lifelong Learning 2014-2020”.

It is pointed out that there is no commitment to employment after the end of the program and simplified and faster integration and repayment procedures are foreseen. The grant of salary and non-salary costs also includes the respective Christmas and Easter gifts and leave allowances.
