e-EFKA: Clarifications regarding the extraordinary financial support of 250 euros

Clarifications regarding the extraordinary financial support of 250 euros are provided by the Electronic National Social Security Agency (e-EFKA).

Specifically, regarding the beneficiaries of the extraordinary financial assistance of 250 euros, paid on December 29, 2021, the management of e-EFKA reminds that the criteria from which the final beneficiaries emerge have been announced since December 1, are specific and are the following, based on no. 25 of Law 4865/2021:

1. Potential beneficiaries of the aid are those who in November 2021 received:

– permanent or temporary pension or advance payment of main pension due to old age, disability or death

– pre-retirement benefit

– disability pension benefits, (what is paid by e-EFKA)

– Those pensioners who receive a pension from the General Accounting Office of the State are also included, in accordance with the provisions of par. 3 of article 4 of law 4387/2016 (war invalids, artists, etc.).

2. For the export of the final beneficiaries, the following conditions were cumulatively examined, based on the tax data declared by the insured themselves:

– The annual individual taxable income for the tax year 2021 should not exceed 7,200 euros.

– Their annual family taxable income (the sum of the taxable income of the debtor and his / her spouse / cohabitation party) should not exceed 14,400 euros.

– The total value of the real estate of the household, which results from the act of administrative determination ENFIA year 2021 (tax year 2020), should not exceed the amount of 200,000 euros.

– They are tax residents of Greece and have submitted an income tax return for the tax year 2020.

According to an announcement by e-EFKA, those pensioners who consider that they should be paid the extraordinary financial support of 250 euros and this was not done, should first refer to the data of their tax returns, in order to determine if they meet the cumulative criteria and the conditions mentioned above.
