The procedures for starting or changing the activity of the self-employed are simplified, according to an announcement of e-EFKA.
Specifically, as mentioned in the announcement, the obligation of inventory declaration (“pre-registration”) in e-EFKA or any document, certificate or insurance information, as a document for the start or change of work in the tax administration is abolished.
Until now, the self-employed persons who wished to start and / or change jobs in the tax administration, which was connected with the start of insurance in e-EFKA, had to first receive a certificate of inventory declaration, ie to “pre-register” with the institution, presenting a series of supporting documents.
“The simplification of the process is achieved, due to the activation of the interoperability between the information systems, through which the data can be automatically extracted, reducing the bureaucracy and the inconvenience of the citizens. In this way, the registration / re-registration in e-EFKA is carried out automatically, after the start or change of work in the tax administration, upon submission of a relevant application of the person liable for the completion of the insurance coverage “clarifies e-EFKA.
The application is submitted until the 10th day of the following month from the month of commencement or change of work electronically, through the website of e-EFKA (www.efka.gov.gr), following the route-> Electronic services for Freelancers / Self-employed / Farmers -> Start / Change / Expiration of insurance.
In case of non-timely submission of an application by the person liable to the insurance, the competent body of e-EFKA proceeds with its own registration and insurance.
