E. Rama: Russian influence is great in Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia

“Solz looked, in a way, like a revived Angela Merkel,” Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama told Welt am Sonntag.

According to the same publication, for years now, Albania has been waiting for the talks on its accession to the European Union (EU) to finally begin. But so far this has not happened. During a visit to Berlin this week, Prime Minister Eddie Rama called for German support in Brussels.

According to the Welt, with the war in Ukraine, Putin’s seemingly unlimited thirst for power is approaching the Balkans. Asked by Rama if he believed Russia could destabilize the region, he replied that the region was vulnerable because Russian influence was very strong – not in Albania, but in Bosnia, Montenegro and especially Serbia.
