EA quietly unveils FIFA 22: a new level of realism and an official release date

The Electronic Arts company officially, but rather modestly, presented a new part of its football simulator FIFA 22 – the developers simply released the debut trailer to the network and published a page on the site. As it turned out, the authors of the project will not provide gamers with any fundamental changes in terms of gameplay, physics or graphics – so far, the main and, practically, the only innovation in virtual football is the HyperMotion technology. She is responsible for the realistic animations and movements of athletes on the field – for this EA Canada recorded 22 players playing on a real field.

After that, machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies were applied, which processed the footage. Accordingly, now virtual athletes will move across the field, hit the ball and do tackles even more realistic (although, it would seem, the developers have already reached their limit a long time ago). Unfortunately, only gamers on PS5, Xbox Series X | S and Google Stadia will receive the fruits of the labors of this technology – there is no information about the PC. We can only hope that this is some kind of mistake. So far, the developers have not presented any other innovations, in addition to this – perhaps they will be told about them later, or maybe this will not surprise anyone, they simply do not exist.

On the other hand, fans of the franchise decided to please – the developers have already begun to take pre-orders for the new part of the series, and announced that FIFA 22 can be bought on PC not only on Origin, but also on Steam. Great news for those who do not want to leave the Valve branded store, plus they will be able to access the game with an EA Play subscription.

In addition, the authors of FIFA 22 announced the official release date – the game will be released on PC (3499 rubles), PS4 (4899 rubles), PS5 (5499 rubles), Xbox One (60 dollars), Xbox Series X | S (70 dollars) and Google Stadia is already on October 2, 2021.
