Earthquake in Chile: Order of vacancy is suspended after tsunami alert

Chile authorities suspended the order of vacancy in the Magalhães region in the far south of Chile, hours after a 7.4 magnitude earthquake generated a tsunami alert.

In any case, a “state of prevention” remains in force, as well as a threat of a tsunami, “but only limited to the beach area and the coast of the entire region of Magalhães.”

The seismic focus occurred at a depth of 10 km, and the epicenter was 219 km from Ushuaia, Argentina, and 438 km from Punta Arenas in Chile.

There were no reports of damage or injured, and the vacations are calmly performed.

Videos on social networks showed people coming out calmly as Sirens sounded in the background.
