Also, referring to her release Irenehe mentioned that “she told us to amputate her leg but we couldn’t do it. Then we tried to calm her down psychologically. We couldn’t give her food, but we gave her water with the lid on because it was more than 48 hours in the ruins”.
Furthermore, he added that “the sadness I feel, I wouldn’t want to feel it right now. But I also feel moral satisfaction. The first thing I said to my family when I got back is that we have to be positive people and not give up. The greatest difficulty we experienced was the risk of entering the great ruins in order to save the living. If there was an aftershock, we might have lost our lives».
