Much of Brazil is forecast for little cloudiness this Easter Sunday (17), with heavier clouds between the Northeast and North, according to Climatempo.
Early morning temperatures were still mild, but the cold air mass that acts across the southern half of Brazil will lose strength as of today. On Saturday (16), Porto Alegre registered 19.7ºC and was the coldest capital in the country, followed by Curitiba (20.2ºC) and São Paulo (22.2ºC).
In the afternoon, the sun appears across the southern half of the country and raises temperatures, despite the expected low for the night, as is typical of autumn.
In Bahia, a cold front in the ocean was responsible for the rain in Salvador this Sunday morning, with the action of the Intertropical Convergence Zone on the north coast of the Northeast also spreading heavy clouds.
Rain showers can occur at any time, in addition to Bahia, in the states of Maranhão, PiauÃ, Ceará, Pará, Amapá, Amazonas and Roraima.
For the next seven days, Climatempo predicts rain accumulations that may exceed 100mm in the Recôncavo Baiano and in the region of Manaus (AM).
