Easy and fun instant photos with Fujifilm Instax

Seize the moment and stop it, forever, with an image. The fascination of instant photography it’s all here, in that moment shot with one Fijifilm Instax. A look, a pose, a gesture that remains indelible but that can be rediscovered every time by touching that memory with your hand.

In the digital age of photos taken and forgotten and those taken, shared and then forgotten, printed images they have extraordinary strength: that of analogue and physical content. You pick up the photo, look at it, put it in a diary, stick it on the bulletin board, put it on the bedside table, pass it on to a friend or a loved one.

It is for this reason that despite the dominance of bits, instant photography continues to generate a big interest capable of involving even the younger generations, despite its invention dating back to over a century ago.

The merit is of devices that have evolved over time by offering functionality and look definitely pop as shown by Fujifilm’s Instax models, leading companies in this sector.

One of the nicest cameras, the Square SQ1, focuses on the iconic square format not only in the design of the device but also in the photos which, once developed, measure 6.2 cm per side. Ease of use is one of the hallmarks of Fujifilm Instax, all you have to do is point and shoot.

For this reason the SQ1 is equipped with an automatic exposure system which takes care of setting the machine by optimizing the shutter speed and flash output according to the lighting conditions. Same philosophy for the modalità Selfie One-Touch which sets focus and exposure to make self-portraits and macro photography easier.

Available in three trendy colors: Terracotta Orange, Glacier Blue and Chalk White, it has a price of 139.99 euros.

Funny and original are also the images that can be obtained with the Instax Mini 40, also characterized by a retro-chic design that does not go unnoticed. In addition to similar technical features to the SQ1 model, this camera prints smaller photos measuring 6.2cm x 4.6cm.

As a tribute to the classic photography of yesteryear, this camera can be used the special Contact Sheet film which simulates the appearance of the contact sheet that was very fashionable in the era of analogue images. Its price is 99.99 euros.

To enter the world of instant photography, Fujifilm has also developed a cheaper but still very versatile and easy to use camera, the Instax Mini 11. This camera is equipped with two different shutter buttons that are interchangeable according to the preferences of the users.
