“I know will announce the first rate hike in 11 years (25 basis points).”

“I know will start the anti-fragmentation mechanismto support vulnerable countries”.

“Although downside risks to growth have increased, for now, guidance for a possible 50 basis point hike in September is likely to holdpartly linked to the fact that the inflation forecast will have to be revised upwards again in September, at least as far as the short term is concerned.”

No new central bank staff forecasts to be released, but an updated assessment is likely to point to high uncertainty, particularly about the energy supply situation. Risks to inflation remain to the upside, while risks to growth remain to the downside.”
