The event was recorded on video and this was shared via Twitter. In the images, Bella is seen inside the already open coffin, trying to breathe while two men provide physical support.

Bella was admitted to the MartÃn Icaza public sanatorium “with a presumptive diagnosis of a cerebrovascular accident and had a cardiorespiratory arrest without responding to resuscitation maneuvers, for which the doctor on duty confirmed her death.” Hours later, she was declared dead and her family was given a certificate attesting to the fact.
Local Ecuadorian media outlets say that Bella was even in the hospital morgue while her son did all the paperwork and arrangements for his funeral.
After five hours of being awake, Bella woke up surprising everyone present. The case went viral and the family is already asking for justice for what happened. Meanwhile, the woman remains on oxygen and under observation, hoping that she has a speedy and favorable recovery.
