Eddy Rama on not being invited to Kyriakos Mitsotakis’ dinner: “It’s better that I didn’t attend”

“It would have been better if I had not been at the dinner that was used to send a contradictory message to Albania in relation to the particularly ambitious expectation of this initiative, and I hope that this unfortunate event did not confuse the esteemed guests.”

He reminded at the same time that next October, Albania will lead the Berlin Process Summit, in Tirana. “Naturally my dear friend and my respected counterpart in Athens will be invited to participate and I could never imagine speaking through my teeth, inviting the Greek President in his place”

Finally, he let it be understood that the refusal of Mr. Mitsotakis to skip it from the informal meeting in Athens was “a result of pressure from third parties”.
