The singer Edson 50, duo with Hudson, 52, commented in a publication that announced the break that Jorge and Mateus will do in their career — criticizing the decision of the country people.
“Every day that passes I realize that our mission is not money or fame, it’s people! […] I will never stop singing. […] I tell you as a fan: shitty bitch!”, wrote Edson in the early hours of this Sunday (10).
Furthermore, the singer commented that he does not intend to retire, even though he started performing 48 years ago alongside his brother.
“Do I arrive and just tell my fans that I’m going to take a break? I have two grandchildren and four children and I’m going to have more children! I will never stop singing”, said Edson in his comment.
Jorge & Mateus said in a video for the Youtube channel André Piunti that they will take a break from their concert schedule after their 20-year career tour.
“Whoever is with us during this tour will possibly be watching the last show of an indefinite period of time that we are going to take to rest”, said the second voice in the statement.
In addition to Jorge and Mateus, other country artists announced that they will reduce their concert schedule to dedicate themselves to their personal life and other projects, including Luan Santana and Gusttavo Lima.
