EEC: Until 15/9 the nominations for the ‘Sustainable – Innovative and Responsible Entrepreneurship’ awards

Until September 15, 2022, companies that claim “Sustainable – Innovative and Responsible Entrepreneurship” awards and are awarded by the Athens Chamber of Commerce can apply.

According to a post by the chamber on its website: “With a firm focus on strengthening entrepreneurship, the ESA will reward small and medium-sized enterprises and professionals who have withstood successive financial crises, but who have managed, with vision, effort and responsibility, to grow and to innovate “.

This year’s EEC event is scheduled for November.

Categories

The awards will cover one of the following categories:

Family business / succession

Successful / Durable Professional

Extroverted entrepreneurship

Innovative entrepreneurship,

Networking – Collaboration,

Social responsibility,

Young Entrepreneurs.

Women Entrepreneurship

Evaluation criterias:

– The minimum criteria for the selection of companies and freelancers are the following:

– Not be in bankruptcy, liquidation or forced management.

– No recovery of aid from the implementation of a national or Community program is pending against them.

– To operate legally, ie to have the valid operating license in each case.

– Do not be firms in difficulty as defined by the provisions of Article 2, paragraph 2.1, points 9, 10, 11 of the European Commission guidelines (2004 / C / 244/02).

– To have the last two years (before depreciation & taxes) profitable.

– There should be no overdue debts to the State, Banks, EFKA and other insurance funds.

– To have maintained and / or have increased employment in 2021 compared to 2020 and to continue in 2022 the same practice.

– Not to operate under a franchise agreement.

– Start-ups provide data for those uses that are already closed, while if they have more than one year of operation they must maintain and / or have increased employment.
