Today, Friday, April 29, 2022, the Gaming Supervision and Control Committee submitted to the Minister of Finance, the Draft Concession Agreement and the relevant accompanying documents for the Casino’s investment in Elliniko.
It was preceded on Wednesday, April 20, by a decision of the Tender Committee regarding the examination of obscene events from the date of award of the tender to the Contractor / Concessionaire on 12.2.2021. Prior to this meeting, the pre-contractual audit by the Court of Auditors had already been completed and, with the decision of the EEEP on Thursday, April 28, 2022, it was confirmed that the decision to award the tender to the association of persons with the distinctive title Athens IRC was finalized.
After the sending of these documents, the signing of the contract is expected, within the stipulated deadline, between the Greek State and the Concessionaire. Subsequently, the Minister of Finance will grant an EKAZ permit to the Concessionaire, upon the recommendation of the EEEP.
EEEP will monitor the progress of the process and will continue to contribute productively within its institutional responsibilities, to complete this important investment.
