More than 50 modern and immediately accessible electronic services have been launched by e-EFKA, in the framework of the strategy for upgrading the service of the citizens. These services allow thousands of policyholders to be served quickly and easily, from home or work, without the need for physical presence and waiting at the institution’s branches.
Today, 1.2 million electronic transactions are made every month, preventing such movements and significantly reducing the inconvenience in the daily life of citizens. At the same time, significant time is freed up for the human resources of the organization, in order to be utilized in areas with increased needs, such as e.g. the management of pension claims.
The electronic services of e-EFKA are accessible both through the single web portal of the State Gov.gr, as well as through the official website www.efka.gov.gr and are addressed to all the insured (employees, freelancers, self-employed), to retirees, but also to public and private sector bodies.

It is noted that for those transactions that can not be done electronically, there is the possibility for an electronic appointment request at the physical branches of e-EFKA (https://www.efka.gov.gr/el/e-ephka-elektroniko-aitema-exypereteses- kleisimo-ranteboy). The medium-term goal of e-EFKA is all transactions with citizens can be done electronically and some of them can be done only electronically.
In addition to services to insured and retirees, e-EFKA provides more than 10 electronic services to accountants and tax experts, in order to facilitate their work and drastically reduce the number of daily visits to physical branches.
The strengthening of electronic services is part of a series of actions of e-EFKA to upgrade the service of citizens. These include the operation of the new, unified call center 1555 that operates free of charge on a 24-hour basis, the myEFKAlive service for the convenience of the inhabitants of the island areas, the increase of the number of services provided through the KEP etc.
Utilizing modern digital tools, e-EFKA continues to drastically improve the level of services to citizens, addressing pathogens and problems that have characterized its operation in the past.
