At least 14 people were killed and 17 injured in a road accident involving a bus and a minibus in the southern part of the Sinai Peninsula on Friday morning. Egypt, according to security officials.

The bus had started from Cairo and was heading to Sharm el-Sheikh, in the Red Sea, when it collided with the minibus.
All the injured were taken to a hospital in the city of El Thor.
