Eight people were arrested by Spanish police after three nights of clashes of far -right and immigrants from North Africa in southeastern Spain, the government announced today. In one of the worst such outbreaks of violence in Spain in recent years, dozens of young people from right -wing groups, some with hoods, slapped bottles and other objects against police officers in Tore Pacheko last night, Sunday. Police used plastic balls to suppress the riots. The riots broke out after the attack last week, unknown to an elderly man, injuring. Authorities said two of the detainees had been involved in this attack even though they were still looking for the main offender. The remaining six – five Spaniards and one from North African country – were arrested for attacking, disturbing public order, hate crimes or causing damage to property, the interior ministry said.
