Eight Palestinians killed in new Israeli raids in the West Bank

Eight Palestinians were killed yesterday Wednesday 11/9 in Israeli strikes in the occupied West Bank, which has been transformed since last month into a theater of large-scale Israeli operations, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent and the Ministry of Health of the Palestinian Authority, while for its part the Israeli military confirmed only five deaths. The Israeli armed forces said they conducted an “anti-terrorist operation” in the Toumba area and then launched a strike in Tulkarem, two towns in the northern West Bank. The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that five people were killed early yesterday morning in “Israeli shelling against a group of civilians in Toumbas”. Its spokesman, Ahmed Jibril, told AFP that a drone had hit an area near a mosque. Meanwhile, an eyewitness said Israeli troops raided the towns of Toumba and Tamun early yesterday.
