Attacks with unmanned aerial vehicles (drones), launched by Russia overnight, injured at least eight people and damaged residential buildings in the capital Kyiv and Odesa region (southern Ukraine), officials said today. The Air Force announced that of the 132 unmanned aerial vehicles launched against the country overnight, it shot down 88 while 41 were “lost”, possibly due to electronic warfare, and one drone returned to Russian territory. The drone attack in Odessa damaged 13 residential buildings and injured seven people, police said in a statement. Debris from downed Russian drones hit buildings in two sectors of Kyiv and injured one person late Thursday.
