Hot and dry air returned this Sunday (29) and started another heat wave. This Monday (30), the heat even more gains strength and temperatures are expected to rise in the South, Southeast and Central-West regions, according to the Climatempo forecast.
This is the eighth heat wave of the year and promises consecutive days with compromised air quality, high potential for fires and impaired visibility with whiter skies.
The heat wave is expected to last until October 8th in much of Brazil.
With the heat and lack of rain, relative air humidity can be below 20% in capitals of the most affected regions. See the forecast for the next few days:

In the Central-West, in the interior of São Paulo, in Tocantins and in the interior of the Northeast, temperatures are once again around 3 to 5 °C above average and maximum temperatures can reach 39 °C, according to Climatempo.
In Cuiabá (MS) and Corumbá (MS), thermometers can reach 42°C .
On Wednesday night (02), the arrival of a cold front could alleviate temperatures in the South and part of the Southeast region. Thermometers will rise again at the weekend.
