EK Water Blocks recently introduced the EK-Classic Strix RTX 3070 D-RGB waterblock, designed for use with Asus ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3070 video cards. It belongs to the category of full coverage waterblocks, removing heat not only from the GPU, but and from other heat sources, including power subsystem components.
The base of the waterblock is made of copper and nickel plated. On the inside, in the area adjacent to the GPU, an array of microchannels is formed, which improves heat transfer. The transparent plastic cover also serves as a backlight diffuser for addressable LEDs. The backlight is compatible with Asus Aura Sync and other common sync technologies.
