EK, a well-known supplier of liquid cooling components for computer systems, has introduced a holder for vertical installation of a video card. Called EK-Loop Vertical GPU Holder EVO – Gen4 Riser, the new product is an evolution of the similar EK-Loop Vertical GPU Holder released in October 2020.

Reliable and rigid fixation of the video card is ensured by using two mounting points designed for the ATX motherboard. The bracket differs from the original model in the ability to move the card, compatibility with the EK-Matrix7 system and EK-Quantum Vector active back panels, as well as the inclusion of a PCIe 4.0 riser cable.

According to the manufacturer, vertical installation allows you to show the video card in all its glory. Unfortunately for those who like to flaunt PC components, not all cases are equipped with vertical slots. The EK-Loop Vertical GPU Holder EVO – Gen4 Riser helps solve the problem. It allows you to vertically mount the video card in any ATX chassis with an open mounting plate window (not having jumpers). The manufacturer promises to later release a version of the holder that is compatible with cases that have these jumpers.
The holder is made of 1.5 mm thick steel sheet. It costs 135.90 euros.
