Cooling company EK has added covers and radiators for the EK-Quantum Convection D5 and EK-Quantum Convection DDC pumps to the Quantum Line. They are available in three finishes: silver, nickel plated and black.
The cover for the D5 is made of aluminum. It is compatible with units including EK-Quantum Reflection Distribution Plates and D5 pumps, and units including EK-Quantum Kinetic FLT tanks and D5 pumps. Of course, the cover can also be fitted to the separately purchased D5 pumps. According to EK, this element is “designed to enhance the appearance of the pumps.”
Another novelty is intended for the DDC pump, which, in addition to the aesthetic component, also has a functional one. This is the EK-Quantum Convection DDC radiator, also made of aluminum. The radiator is said to improve engine and electronics cooling, thereby extending pump life. Optimal heat transfer is ensured by the thermal interface.
The cover costs 38.9 euros, the radiator 36.9 euros. The price does not depend on the finishing option. Products are already available for pre-order. The manufacturer expects to start shipping at the beginning of June 2021.
