The water block is said to have “best performance and optimum flow.” Its base is made of copper. It is nickel-plated in four versions. The waterblock is compatible with the “standard” EK-Matrix7, in which the step of the height of the products and the distance between the ports is determined equal to 7 mm. This simplifies the design and assembly of the LSS. A new patent pending EK-Exact Mount is used to mount the waterblock. According to EK, it is very easy to use and looks aesthetically pleasing.

EK-Quantum Velocity² D-RGB – AM4 Nickel + Plexi, EK-Quantum Velocity² D-RGB – AM4 Nickel + Acetal and EK-Quantum Velocity² D-RGB – AM4 Copper + Acetal cost 125.9 € each, while EK- Quantum Velocity² D-RGB – AM4 Nickel + Satin Titanium and EK-Quantum Velocity² D-RGB – AM4 Full Nickel – 169.9 euros each. Acceptance of pre-orders has already begun.
