Elderly couple earned compensation – mammoth, because skyscraper hid the light on the bed headrest

A pair of elderly people won huge compensation from a skyscraper contractors who hid the light falling into their bed headrest, so they had difficulty reading books. Stephen and Jennifer Powell have been staying on the 6th floor of an apartment building in London’s South Bank for the last 20 years and have earned a total of 580,000 euros from the Ludgate House Ltd. The company bought an area worth 2 billion pounds opposite the elderly house with the aim of making the Bankside Yards complex, which would consist of three skyscrapers.
