An elderly couple was found dead inside a house this Sunday (27), on Ilha do Governador, in the north of Rio de Janeiro.
According to the state’s Military Police, the team was called to Rua Amanda Guimarães, in the Portuguesa neighborhood, on Ilha do Governador (RJ) to respond to an incident, initially, of bodily injury.
At the scene, police officers verified the two deaths inside the residence, where witnesses were also present.
One of them informed the police that she found the victims, identified as Selma Muniz Santos, 76, and Antonio Sidinei Rocha Santos, 69, tied up inside the house.
The incident was forwarded to the Homicide Police Station, which investigates who committed the incident and tries to clarify the motivation for the crime.
