An elderly couple was found dead inside a car in a farm of St. Peter, in the interior of Sao Paulo, on the night of last Sunday (6). As determined by CNN the victims were identified as José Eduardo Ometto Pavan and Rosana Ferrari, 68 and 61 years old.
According to the police report, Military Police officers were fired by the owner of a bar near the farm, who reported seeing the couple’s truck parked next to the residence since 7am, but who was surprised by the situation because they did not see both of the day. The man then went to the house and found Joseph’s body inside the vehicle.
Witnesses told police that Joseph attended the farm in an assiduous way, always accompanied by his wife, Rosana. Given this, the daughter of the owner of the residence attempted telephone contact with the woman, but got no response.
Following, the police contacted the man’s brother -in -law, who confirmed that he had gone to the scene accompanied by his wife. Following, the police began looking for the woman outside the residence, but did not find her.
During the searches, some keys were located on the vehicle console, allowing access to the interior of the residence, where no suspect was also found. However, when they opened the trunk of the truck, the agents located Rosana, also lifeless.
Also according to the police report, the victims had firearm wounds.
The Scientific Police and the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) were called for the occurrence, confirming the deaths. After the expertise, the vehicle and the place were released and were under the responsibility of the victim’s brother, who was already in the farm.
In a statement, the Secretariat of Public Security (SSP) reported that the Civil Police investigates the case.
