Operation Operation Security and Civil Police arrested, last Tuesday (1), a man suspected of extorting a 77-year-old man leaving a bank in Itaboraí. The crime, known as “Bank Saidinha” involved a false blow to multiplication of money.
According to the investigations, the elderly was approached by a individual who offered himself to pray for him and multiply his money . Convinced by the conversation, the victim got into a car where two more cronies from the criminal were.

The scammers removed R $ 900 and the elderly bank cards, but, as he did not remember the passwords, decided to release it after about two hours circulating around the city.
The criminal action was perceived by a merchant, who warned the agents of the present security operation. With the description of one of the suspects, the police located the man and referred him to the 71st Police Station (DP).
The Civil Police analyzed images of security cameras and identified the vehicle used in the crime. After triggering other police stations, the agents located the car in Nova Iguaçu and confirmed the victim’s release at his residence.
The elderly man was taken to the police station, where he recognized the suspect, who remains arrested. Investigations go to identify and capture the others involved in the crime.
