Elderly man celebrates 100th birthday with more than 200 dogs as guests

The elderly Robert Moore had a pleasant surprise when he celebrated his 100th birthday. On the day of the party, more than 200 dogs showed up and lined up to be petted.

According to “The Washington Post”, daughter Alison Moore wanted the party to be unforgettable and with the presence of the ones he loved most.

However, due to her father not having any living friends anymore, she decided to bring other special guests. Alison asked on social networks that tutors in the region take their dogs so that her father could pet the pets as she always liked to do.

Alison expected as many as twenty or thirty puppies to show up at the house, but was surprised when more than 200 dogs crowded the place.

The elderly man was moved by the celebration, but especially by the presence of so many pets. According to the website, the party also did well for other guests.

A gentleman suffering from Alzheimer’s attended Robert’s birthday, with his daughter and pet. She said she hadn’t seen him smile in a long time: “It didn’t just make my dad’s day, it made his entire year,” she told the site.

Robert’s birthday was certainly a memorable one for him and all the guests in the area.
