One accident involving two passenger vehicles on highway BR 267, km 163, in Lima Duarte (MG), left an elderly woman dead last Sunday (3).
The Juiz de Fora Military Fire Department was called to respond to the incident. According to them, one of the passenger vehicles carried four people and the other three.
THE collision resulted in the death of a 73-year-old woman who was in the passenger seat of one of the cars. The other six victims were treated and taken to hospital units by SAMU.
The military stabilized the vehicles, eliminated fire risks and remained until the arrival of forensic experts, who authorized the removal of the elderly woman’s body to the Legal Medical Institute.
The Federal Highway Police was also called to help coordinate traffic while the vehicles were removed from the scene.
The causes of the accident will be investigated.
