Elections in Turkey on May 14, Erdogan said

THE Recep Tayyip Erdogan “pointed” to May 14 as Turkey’s election day, speaking at the AKP’s KO meeting, according to Turkish press reports.

“On May 14, 1950, the late Menderes said ‘enough is enough’ and emerged from the ballot box with a great victory,” Erdogan said.

A few days ago, Bloomberg report analyzed Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s thoughts on the elections in Turkeystating that it looks like they will be held on May 14th.

“In 2023 we will achieve the path opened by Menderes on May 14, 1950, saying ‘enough, the citizens have a say,'” said the Turkish president, with Bloomberg interpreting it as Erdogan’s message for the election date.

It is noted that the elections were scheduled for June 18.
