Debuting at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, the electric hypercar with Italian roots Battista set several world speed records at once. Developed by Automobili Pininfarina, the electric car has become the fastest production car from Italy on the market.
Battista has six recorded world records. So, acceleration from 0 to 60 miles per hour takes only 1.79 seconds, from 0 to 100 km / h – 1.86 seconds, and from 0 to 120 miles per hour and from 0 to 200 km / h – 4 .49 and 4.47 seconds, respectively. From 100 km / h to a complete stop, the hypercar travels only 31 kilometers, which is also a record figure among electric cars. In addition, the model boasts the longest range of any electric hypercar, at 300 miles or 483 kilometers as measured by the combined EPA method.
Recall, Battista from Automobili Pininfarina is a sports coupe on a fully electric platform, which can accelerate to 350 km / h. It is driven by a power plant of four electric motors with a total capacity of 1900 horsepower and 2340 Nm of torque. The car is powered by a 120 kWh Rimac traction battery.
Powerful hypercar from Automobili Pininfarina will be produced in a limited edition of only 150 pieces. Each copy of Battista is assembled by hand at the brand’s factory in the Italian commune of Cambiano. The assembly of each such car takes an average of 1250 hours.
Battista production started in July 2022 and the first copies of the electric hypercar have already been sent to customers. The cost of an exclusive electric car starts at 2.2 million euros, excluding taxes.
