Electric pickup Ford F-150 Lightning accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.5 seconds

Electric pickup Ford F-150 Lightning accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.5 seconds

Apparently, the Ford F-150 Lightning in the ER version (it uses a twin-engine power plant with a capacity of 563 hp) will be the fastest F-150 (at least until the release of the F-150 Raptor with a V8) – it will be able to accelerate to 100 km / h in just 4.5 seconds. Despite the fact that earlier it was about 4 s to 100 km / h, for a large and heavy pickup and 4.5 s is very fast. This version received a traction battery with a capacity of 131 kWh, and a power reserve of 483 km.

The basic version of the SR is also all-wheel drive, but the power of the power plant is lower here (426 hp), and the capacity of the traction battery is less – 98 kWh (it provides a cruising range of 370 km).

Recall that for six months, Ford has collected more than 200,000 orders for its electric pickup. The company is now preoccupied with expanding production in order to fully meet the demand for the current F-150 Lightning before launching a new model in 2025.
