Eletrobras announced the first Voluntary Dismissal Plan (PDV) since the company’s privatization, according to a statement released this Friday (28).
The POS will cost around R$ 1 billion and is being implemented simultaneously in the companies Eletrobras CGT Eletrosul, Chesf, Eletronorte and Furnas, in addition to the holding itself.
The program is aimed at employees retired by official social security or retirees until April 30, 2023, considering the INSS’s own criteria – age and contribution time required for the years 2022 and 2023, respectively. In all group companies, there are 2,312 employees eligible for the plan.
According to Eletrobras, the estimated payback is 11.2 months. The membership period will be from November 1st to 18th, and terminations will take place in staggered classes between December and April 2023.
Eletrobras also stated that the commitment to open the POS is part of the proposal of the Superior Labor Court (TST) for the Collective Bargaining Agreement (ACT) 2022/2024 and includes the proposition of conditions superior to those offered in the latest version of the POS, 2019.
