The presenter Eliana, 51, reflected on difficult moments she experienced during motherhood especially the youngest daughter, Manuela, 6, in new excerpts from the interview with journalist Renata Capucci shown this Saturday (6), on GNT channel.
Eliana is the newest hire at TV Globo, after hosting a program on SBT for 15 years . On the new channel, she will be part of The Masked Singer Brasil, as well as Saia Justa, shown on GNT.
In unprecedented statements revealed this Saturday, Eliana focused on her motherhood — especially the difficult moments.
“Manu’s pregnancy showed me that we have no control over anything. five months hospitalized without knowing where we were going to end up. I had a cerclage to hold the baby and then I had a placental abruption. They were two difficult episodes, but they were very educational,” she said.
“I used to stay in a room where the sun that is shining here didn’t shine. And it would only shine on my bed for five minutes, which was a beam of light. Today, more than ever, I am grateful for every bit of sunlight that comes through the window, for the opportunity to step on sand, on grass, to be in contact with nature… And, more than that, I am grateful for the family that I was able to build,” he said.
“What you pass on to your children are things that you can’t buy with any amount of money: respect, empathy, love, honesty,” he concluded.
In Saia Justa, Eliana will replace Astrid Fontenelle in charge of the program and will share the couch with the veteran Bela Gil and the newcomers too Rita Baptist currently presenter of It’s from Home It is Tati Machado who today participates in the morning programs of the station and Famous dance .
Eliana also spoke to Renata more about Saia Justa and guaranteed a “beautiful” program.

We’re going to give our opinions, but I want to hear from all these women. I think it’s going to be a really cool exchange. I’ve already met with the team, they’re incredible women,” she revealed. “In the show, we’re going to demystify a lot of things.”
“The audience is my family. For 16 years I spoke to the children of these families, then I moved to a predominantly male environment, which is a talk show, and I went to speak to Brazilian families,” she added.
Eliana debuts on Saia Justa on the day August 7th . Now on The Masked Singer, the presenter will be present in 2025.
