Elle Fanning, a new era (of style) beyond the comfort zone

The princely and candid aura of Elle Fanning, reaffirmed over the years with spectacular and ethereal dresses in pastel tones on the red carpet recently saw an unexpected turn. The 23-year-old, best known for her role as Aurora in the film Maleficent, as well as for that of Catherine II in The Great, on the occasion of the InStyle Awards 2021 she showed off a new version of herself: dark and sensual, with a magnetic charm, Elle wore a black suit from Balmain’s Spring / Summer 2022 collection, consisting of a long skirt and jeweled top.

The latter, made of golden metal, resumes in maxi mode the link of a chain, embellished with huge crystals, leaving belly and back uncovered. A bold style element, which the actress did not combine with other accessories – given the dual nature of her top – with the exception of the eight golden rings worn on both hands. A few days earlier, Elle Fanning made another noteworthy and particularly notable appearance far from its comfort zone.

At the LACMA Art + Film Gala, the actress wore a long dress by Gucci, also this black, with lots of nude details: sweetheart tops and high-waisted culottes, interspersed with black fabric and chiffon. Could this be a new style chapter for the young star? Probably yes, and one good dose of experimentation, on the set as in the spotlight of the red carpet, can only contribute to its evolution.
