Elodie, the concert at the Forum in Milan is a hymn to freedom

The pop of Elodie conquered Milan. Our pop star returned to the Forum, the first of three sold out dates, for a party lasting over two hours. After her debut last May, the singer proposed an even more complete show, bringing her whole world and her entire career, divided into five blocks. From the latest album Okay. Breathe to Vertigo, from Andromeda to Two.

Elodie made her entrance accompanied by eleven dancers and took the central stage, with her audience all around her. International choreographies, diva moves and hits one after the other: a great, great show. Halfway through the concert, the singer colored the screen redletting the causes he chose to support speak for themselves: «War takes away freedom. Over 449 million children live in conflict zones. Gender cannot determine a person’s freedom, but 29.9 million adolescent girls live in the 10 countries with the highest number of child marriages.” It’s still: «Culture sets you free, but in the world 244 million children and young people do not go to school and 771 million adults are illiterate”.

Elodie also wanted to include (RED), the association founded in 2006 by Bono and Bobby Shriver, primarily to support the fight against AIDS. «Every week, 4,000 adolescent girls and young women contract HIV. Of these infections, nearly 80 percent occur in sub-Saharan Africa. (RED)’s mission is to put an end to this injustice and make treatments for diseases accessible to all”, is the message that Elodie put on the screen, reiterating the commitment he has always put into every statement he makes. And he will donate the total sale of the (RED) LIGHT t-shirt to the association.

Then an invitation: «And now come and dance with me». Elodie joins her club Red Light. And here the fun is guaranteed. The next step is the lap dance pole, all around the dancers and the choreographies that become more and more complex. At the end comes the tribute to Raffaella Carrà, on the notes of You Begin Making Love, with an intense «hello Raffa» at the end. His friend Marco Mengoni also surprisingly takes to the stage. The two sing together Crazy Music And No Stress. The party ends with Margarita and Bath to Midnight. A thousand shades of Elodie, and of freedom.
